Shutter controller

Our ultra-compact shutter controllers offer 8 or 16 channels, with 24 V outputs to control standard industrial process control hardware such as pneumatic valves. They can be operated as a standalone unit, or together with iControl or other control infrastructure using the high-speed EtherCAT control interface.

The front displays the state of each connected device. Switches allow you to choose between remote operation or manual override open/shut for each individual channel at any time.

The colors of the indicator lights may be set individually by internal jumpers, allowing you, e.g., to have a valve with a safe default open position indicated in green.

Electrical connections are via industry standard M8 screw-on connectors. The top row contains the 24 V control outputs. The middle row contains optional inputs to actively detect the state of the controlled device via limit switches, Hall sensors or light barriers. The bottom row contains optional interlock inputs that allow the remote control or blockade in either the closed or open state via remote signals on a per channel basis.
